All Hands- Whatcom Opioid Summit June 27-28
Dear leaders, providers, and concerned citizens,
The opposite of addiction is not just sobriety – it’s community.
As the opioid epidemic continues and the devastating consequences of Fentanyl spread, our community must come together to expand prevention, support healing, and cultivate a community of care.
All Hands invites you to join the first annual All Hands Whatcom–Opioid Summit on June 27 and 28. This event is free, lunch is provided, and stipends are available for those who need them.
From prevention, to intervention, treatment, to living in recovery, all of us have a role to play in creating the continuum of care and compassionate community we need.
Space is limited, register today to save your spot in this dynamic 2-part series. (Click here to pre-register for the local Summit sessions. ) The morning sessions are virtual and hosted by UW. (Click here for UW morning session details.) Immediately following the UW morning panels, we will gather as a community over lunch and spend the afternoon in multi-disciplinary strategy sessions to identify opportunity for local service enhancement, policy action, and that will inform local resources planning processes and priorities.
*Note- additional registration information will be sent in the next couple of weeks. Pre-register to be on the mailing list.
All Hands is an open community event and all are welcome. Please feel free to share this invitation and reach out with questions at 360-671-3349 or via email to allhands@chuckanuthealthfoundation.org.
